Mentoring

Most mentorship programs are limited in that they are separated from the work that needs to be completed. As a behaviorist, Scott’s mentoring approach is specifically designed to help each mentee with their “jobs-to-be-done”. In other words, unlike nearly every other mentorship program, this is not a program at all. Working with each mentee, Scott designs a specific IMP (Individualized Mentoring Plan) with a specific goal to take each mentee to the next level while aligning their personal growth with the growth of the organization. This mentorship approach is great for executives and upper-level management – those individuals who are in positions to make a significant difference in their organization. 

The mentorship takes six months to complete and only requires 24 hours of committed time (just the equivalent of one full day) over the course of six months. This time includes an initial interview, developing the IMP, biweekly assignments, biweekly virtual progress meetings, completing a final report, including lessons learned. 

Month 1: 4.5 hours

Month 2: 3.5 hours

Month 3: 2.5 hours

Month 4: 2.5 hours

Month 5: 3.5 hours

Month 6: 4.5 hours

Mentees are expected to complete parts of their plan outside of their regularly scheduled sessions and are held accountable and required to report progress. In addition, unlimited email support is available to the Mentee throughout the mentorship.
