Management Training

As a management consultant, Scott has the luxury of observing management in multiple organizations, often in the same week. Managers in most organizations often have a narrow view because they only get to see the world through the lens of their company, Scott sees multiple management styles, approaches, and techniques that your managers may never see.

Scott is noted for saying that management in organizations today, regardless of industry, are some of the worst he has seen in the past 30 years. In fact, beyond basic administrative functions – writing reports, filling out forms, scheduling employees – most managers don’t know how to manage at all. 

Scott has developed a customizable management training program that can be aligned to your policies, procedures, SOPs, and culture to help immediately improve the skills of your managers and supervisors. 

This three-day program is highly interactive. This is not a seminar where participants receive a notebook and then return to the work environment, put it in a drawer and go back to doing things the old way. There is an educational component but more importantly, there is an implementation module that is behavior-based. This is an experiential learning model. That means your managers/supervisors will participate in management scenarios during the training sessions. They will practice, live, in class, what they are learning so they know how to implement key concepts immediately.

The Management Training program is offered as a standalone service or integrated as part of the Business and Management Advisor program. Because it is experiential, we ask that you assign no more than 18 managers per class.
